Ethics Bowl basics
If you're new to the format, start here.
In debate, teams are assigned opposing sides and try to win. In Ethics Bowl, teams aren't required to disagree — they're rewarded for the depth and honesty of their analysis. Judges score on the quality of moral reasoning, not on rhetorical victory.
Running a tournament here
What hosting an event with Ethics Bowl Manager looks like.
No. If you can fill out a form, you can run a tournament. Sign up, click "New tournament," add your teams, and click generate. The platform handles the scheduling math and ballot tabulation.
Judges, teams, and accounts
Who logs in for what.
Judges can submit ballots without an account — the tournament director shares the round link, and the judge fills out the digital ballot directly. Only tournament hosts need to sign up.
